Ethics In The Workplace

This course on Ethics in the Workplace discusses how the work ethic, self-evaluation of the adjuster's work ethic, and attitudes and behaviors impact the role of the adjuster. The course discusses how the adjuster's attitude can have an affect on the manner in which a claim is assessed and how the adjuster's mind set affects facts to be considered and weighed in liability decisions. An organizational culture with a positive work ethic advocates personal accountability and a responsibility for one's work which are both key in the role of the adjuster. Developing, sustaining and maintaining ethical habits regarding the work environment and work produced are critical in the behavior and job of an adjuster.
