Ethics And Integrity
This three hour course is about ethics and integrity. In this course, we will be discussing the importance of integrity in relationships; demonstrating core values; relating the role of integrity in corporate culture; explaining integrity and the reputation link; describing the importance of ethics in the relationships of consumers and insurers; and identifying the use of integrity as an asset protection device. In module one, we will discuss integrity in customer, employee and other stakeholder relationships. Module two will explore core values as they relate to morals and virtues, the roots of morality, and the morality and ethics conundrum. Module three will delve into corporate culture and integrity, discussing the benefits of corporate citizenship, callenges and barriers, what is required to restore corporate integrity, and aligning corporate culture with personal values. In the fourth module, we'll discuss the value of a good reputation, the impact or moral hypocrisy and enterprise ethics management. Module five will cover consumers, insurers and ethics - important touchpoints, stakeholder contributions, and building trust. And finally, in module six, we'll cover using integrity as an asset protection device - that is, encouraging disclosure and reporting of unethical behavior, protecting whistleblowers and other stakeholders, and leveraging information from internal investigations.
