This course is intended to familiarize the adjuster with the liability exposures that arise in certain situations, including non-automobile accidents and boating or recreation related claims. The Personal Liability course will outline contracts and the relationships they create and will explain the concepts of primary, overlapping, and non-concurrent coverages. Later in the course, the basics of medical claim adjusting and definitions of common medical terms that may need to be known when adjusting a medical claim will be explained, followed by a close look at the issues that are at hand when handling a serious injury or death claim.

1. Personal Liability – HO Sect. 2 - 60 minutes
2. Boatowners and Recreational Liability Claims - 45 minutes
3. Contracts and Construction Contractor Claims - 45 minutes
4. Medical Aspects of Claims I - 45 minutes
5. Medical Aspects of Claims II - 45 minutes
6. Primary, Excess and Non Concurrent Coverage - 60 minutes
7. Serious Injuries & Wrongful Death Claims - 45 minutes
